Rabbi Chaim Zaklos studied in Israel, Florida and Brooklyn NY. Upon completion of his studies, he was ordained at the Central Chabad Lubavitch Yeshiva in Brooklyn.
Prior to moving to BPC, Rabbi Zaklos volunteered in Chabad’s "Merkos Shlichus" program, often referred to as the "Jewish Peace Corps." Leading services in the Caribbean, Eastern and Western Europe, Africa and the Far East, where he directed the world's largest Passover Seder in Katmandu, Nepal and another in Nigeria.
Rabbi Zaklos was an assistant Rabbi at the Chabad Jewish center in Mumbai India, under the leadership of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg, who later were tragically murdered during the November, 2008 terror attacks.
Rabbi Zaklos taught Talmud at Yeshiva Ohr Elchanan Chabad in Los Angeles, where he also organized community wide study programs. He served as a student intern providing educational programs and holiday events for Jewish communities in Las Vegas, NV; Jacksonville, FL; Kauai Hawaii and Folsom CA.
Rabbi Zaklos led Synagogue services for U.S. military personnel in Yokosuka and Okinawa Japan.
Mrs. Mushka Zaklos was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in the Lubavitcher Rebbe's "backyard", where she was imbued with a sense of mission and purpose to share her love for Judaism with her fellow Jews. Mushka studied at the Beth Rivka School in New York, and spent a year doing advanced studies in Jerusalem.
She has been a counselor and an activity director for summer camps in Georgia, Westchester and Connecticut.
Mushka has extensive experience with youth programming.
With her leadership and secretarial skills, she has developed and coordinated a host of innovative community holiday programs and youth clubs activities.
